Palais Des Bières

As all Palais de la Bière, don’t expect more than highly commercial draft beers and a few dozens of common bottles, although it’s always possible to find a good one to drink; a few Germans (Weihenstephaner), Belgians (Chimay and others…), French (Lancelot). The small place is crammed with bikes and other collectibles that looks a bit kitsch but at least it’s the owner’s passion (+1), but the outside with those yellow plastic chairs is suitable to a bar near the beach (-1).

There are two of these places in town. A biker style bar with a beer shop inside. A nice outdoor area and a huge selection of beers for the area. Both local and international. No food except snacks, but a very freindly place and has a wonderfull friendly staff. They have singles for take away and it is a fun place. Recommended as an alternative in this other wise high class city.
