62 Service was OK at best. Greeting person did not bother reply to my thank you etc. Nice to see taster option. Food was as expected, not too bad. A bit loud with typical chain decour. |
56 Typical Rock Bottom chain restaurant and brewery. The beers here were better than I expected. The three I tried were all pretty solid. Good uptown location. |
74 I only had 1 beer, so can’t give a great testament, but we had a good experience, good service, enjoyable beers, in a clean chain-like setting. I’d go back. |
66 Nice location in uptown Charlotte. Pretty typical Rock Bottom for the most part. They had 5 standard Rock Bottom beers on tap in addition to around 4 local Rock Bottom recipe beers. The beers seemed pretty poor compared to beers I’ve had at other Rock Bottom locations in the past. There are plenty of other, much better, and more local breweries in Charlotte, that make this one not worth the visit for an out-of-towner. But a decent place to get dinner and watch sports if you’re a local - but that is usually the case with all Rock Bottoms |
50 Definitely a chain appearance and menu. Beer offerings limited to a few house brews. Food okay but unremarkable, as was the beer. |
62 Atmosphere was nice - family style. Beer was very good (Hop Nugget IPA) and well priced at $3/pint. The food (bacon, chicken mac & cheese) was outstanding. The beer selection was a bit limited. The service started out exceptional, but ended up taking 20 minutes to pay the bill due to a "computer reboot."

68 Pretty much on par with the other Rock Bottom’s I have visited. Not super crowded (on weeknights at least), which is a plus. Good location for convenience to the uptown hotels and offices. |
72 Lots of seating and the staff was friendly. Had the burger and fries and it was pretty tasty. Jalepeno cheese pretzels weren’t bad either. Beer was average, but they had a nice mix of styles. Plenty of TVs to watch the games. Worth a stop if you are in the area. |
64 This is your typical Rock Bottom, with the addition of a stone pizza oven, which is a nice touch. Large dining room, lots of families eating dinner. Long bar with the usual suspects. Didn’t see any brewing equipment, so I’m not sure if any of the seasonals are brewed here. Pleasant enough, and centrally located. |
34 Beer wasn’t great, service sucked and food was average. |
