58 Not bad, not great. Big place, food decent, staff so so. Good Germans but not great. Not a huge selection. I'd come back though, I think things were just a tiny bit off tonight. |
66 One of the best brewpubs in the region, lots of space, and keen staff and a solid brewer. All the beers hit their targets, with the seasonal winter bock a standout. |
66 A large modern building - high ceilings - barnlike space - and no atmosphere; the beers are OK, but nothing special - food was reasonable. |

A: The place is very nice on the inside with a large bar area, huge dining space and boasts an outdoor patio just off the main bar which will open out when the weather is nice.
Q: The quality of the beers were sub par. I rated 3 of the beers and took pulls from some of their other beers and they mostly seemed to be missing something and all had watery finishes.
S: The service was average, when we arrived, the bar area was half full and filled up completely over the two hours we were there. The bartenders were hit or miss on beer savy. For a ’brewery’, they should be able to describe their beers.
S: The selection was decent as they featured a Marzen, Hefeweizen, Black Lager, Czech Pilsner, Dortmunder, and seasonal Winter Bock. They also featured 8 guest taps which were somewhat decent.
F: The food was decent quality but a little pricey for the quantity/quality. We ordered several appetizers that were decent.
The prices were reasonable as pints were $3 and they had decent happy hour prices.
Overall, your typical chain ’brewery’ with most attention on pretending to brew beer and appeal to the masses with weak offerings. |
64 What do i gotta do to get service. Walked in a bit afternoon on a saturday. Place was dead. Sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before the bar tender noticed i was there. Hung in because i have to check this place off the list. Alas she arrived and recomended the weizenbock. Sure why not. Lunch pizza with a salad. Ok. As previous reviewers have stated its a corporate chain feel, which is exactly what gordon biersch is. I found it adequate. Value ok. Selection was 7 of their house beers plus 8 guest taps. Most "guest taps" appear to be bmc in hiding, but did spot a glbc handle. Service ended up being decent after the short wait, slight reduction resulted. |
58 corporate feel right in Galleria mall. prety dire selection Golden ale, pilsner, schwarzbier, hefe, marzen & weizenbock (which was pretty good). food was ok, big menu so choices for everyone |
60 In the main mall. Easy to sport, right across the Cheesecake factory. They open at 11 am but start serving beer at noon. Bit strange. Staff was polite but seemed annoyed with my questions. Front staff did not know what is on tap (seasonals).Place its self was large and at time quiet empty. |
