website is very simple.. no shopping cart .. selection can be awesome but usually has a lot of items out of stock .. prices are decent as well as shipping .. a legit shop and wish i could order from them still.. but when a bottle broke due to idiot packaging, nothing was done..

This place freakin rocks! The beer selection here is unbelievable! Unbelievable selection of Boulevard beers. Picked up a couple bottles of Stateside and a bottle of bcs.

Tiny shop with a big selection. This place carries a lot of regional micros as well as some great craft imports. I have found some cool older Jolly Pumpkin and Cantillons on the shelves before, and due to this, I recommend checking bottle dates on beers that are meant for enjoyment while fresh. The service is nice, as the staff really know about what is in the store.

This place is rather small, but they sure pack the craft beer in a small and tiny spot. Didn’t need any help so I’m not sure how knowledgeable they are of beer, but their selection was top notch. Their prices were reasonable.

OK place, was expecting a bit more. Very cramped with a decent selction. Not a lot of anything really. Lots of dusty, old import lagers. Some nice Belgians, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, it was a ok store, I felt that it was kind of dumpy. Not sure why the ratings are so high as I was pretty disappointed.

Stopped in today to check out what was on the shelves. Saw here on ratebeer that they might have something I was looking for. They weren’t able to find it, but I did have three people on the case, and a call to the guy in charge to try and help. If I could give a higher score for customer service, I would. Selection was organized by brewery and very good, but not as good, I think, as the ratings here suggest. Still, some hard to find things, clean, and a very helpful staff.

Update: Upped my ratings because repeat visits keep turning up the treasures, like the first place to have FFF Brew Doo around here. The Bell’s selection is unrivaled amongst the places I’ve shopped. This place rocks! Will be a frequent shopper here. Glad one of my beer buddies turned me on to Archer Liquors. Stopped by tonight on my way home from work. Things I’ve not seen anywhere else - Avery Mephostophelese and Bell’s Hell Hath No Fury as examples. The guy that owns / runs this place understands quality craft brews really well. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Will return many times! Nice website and RSS feed so you can keep up to date with new brews coming in. Excellent. One awesome feature, you can take a single from any six pack - makes it SO much easier to sample something that you’re not quite sure about, without the anxiety of blowing money on a six pack to discover you just don’t like it.

Went straight there from Midway Airport. Being from Florida I was stoked to see Lost Abbey, Great Lakes, 3F, Goose Island, etc. Selection of Belgians was about as I get at home - very nice. Service was great. I asked about some season Great Lakes and Randy found some singles laying around. Overall, not sure about the value as I am from out of town and can’t get most of what I bought, but when I am in Chicago I will definitely check back here first.
