94 Often busy bar where i know a bartender or two. everything available as a sampler size but only a 2 oz pour. Food is decent but a bit pricey for what it is. Selection is always new to market or limited stuff, has a nice biergarten and open doors in the summer. |

78 A solid pub in (midtown?) Chicago with a nice tap list. The ambiance is nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the service was good too. I didn’t eat, but this place specializes in "bangers" (sausages, coneys, etc.) and they looked good. Worth a stop if you’re in the area. |

84 Dimly lit & pretty small on the inside. Kind of like an upscale hipster bar vibe. Tap list was pretty large with 32 or so beers on tap. Not the most interesting selection ever, but plenty of new things to drink. Good service. Incredible food. Fried cheese curds with amazing sauce, an incredible venison brat, & fried deviled eggs with chorizo filling. I would come back here on food alone. Definitely gotta try this place if you haven’t. |
80 I found this place in 2012; I walked in and the gm was talking buffalo trace antique collection. We shared some fois gras pogos and drank all the pappy.

82 Opening weekend for the Chicago Bears; yes the game’s on the couple of 30" TV’s they have hanging about, but they want to play a Talking Heads playlist over the PA?!? Hell yeah! This is the type of place I wanna watch a game at! Definitely a lodge-y / dive-y type bar with a solid selection of uncommon beers available on tap and in bottles. And the food? ... yeah, good stuff. It’s a sausage-based menu done very well (I recommend the goat "sandwich"). It’s a bit overpriced, and their was nothing special about the wait staff - although they did a good job "checking" in on me. I get the hype, but definitely a place I would pass up if there was a wait. |
78 old parlor bar ambiance offered. some sort of new belgium sour beer tap takeover going on when i was @. roughly 0 people offered @ offpeak hour, which is fine. a nice option. |
