Taste Of Belgium (Over-The-Rhine)

Located at the corner of 12th and Vine in OTR’s bustling restaurant row, Taste of Belgium serves up really, really good food. There are about a dozen or so tap handles, split between Belgians and locals, with a few national crafts for good measure. It gets crowded on the weekends, especially for brunch, but it’s become more manageable than some of the places down the street. If you need more room, head up the hill and go to the Clifton/Corryville location by UC, which is about 2x the space, if not more. Great place, though.

This is a marvelous place! My group of 8 was there on an August evening when the windows were open, and the feel was anything but Cincinnati. The Belgian beer list would please anyone who favors that style, the food is exceptional, and the desserts made us want to skip dinner next time we’re there. Service was solid, the ambiance and energy receive high marks. The only reservation would be the bill, which was a little higher (not a lot) than we’re accustomed to. Highly Recommended.

Easy to find location on corner in up and coming area. Bar in center right with tables around outside. Freindly service. Limited selection, but they have is good. Did not try food. This and other good locations in area makes this a good visit.

I don’t think there is anywhere local that serves anything close to the variety of Belgium beers served at the Belgian Bistro. Food is interesting and quite good(nice place to go for waffles). But if you are into Belgian beers, this place has 6 taps of them plus quite a few Belgiums in bottles. Proper glassware to boot! Well worth a stop if you are downtown. Very crowded on the Saturday afternoon I went and server were struggling to keep up.
