Yabo’s Tacos

(Visited 03/2013): This Yabo’s location is on Northwest Blvd in Upper Arlington. There is a parking lot behind the building.

The restaurant has a table seating section where orders are placed at a counter. The other section is the bar area where food is picked up. The bar offers a view of the taps and bottles available, and there is a chalkboard listing the available beers. The decor is bright paint, and there are several TVs.

The beer selection at Yabo’s consists of around 15 taps with craft brewers like Avery, Great Lakes, Founders and Avery represented. As for bottles there are around 20, many macros plus a few more common craft beers.

Food at Yabo’s is consistently good. I prefer the Big Sloppy Yabo.

Service is consistently good both with food ordering and at the bar. Beer knowledge varies.

Overall I am partial to the Westerville location but this is a decent place to stop for a good meal and a few good options on tap.
