74 Very nice restaurant with quite a few craftbeer taps...worth visiting when traveling back and forth between DC/Baltimore and Annapolis. The food is very good...especially the seafood. The beer selection is pretty decent given this is first and foremost a restaurant. It can be a little hit or miss on whether you get some harder to get varieties of styles you like when you visit or if they are more run of the mill. The best place to sit is on the patio out back if the weather allows. Biggest challenge as others have mentioned...the place gets very crowded and in my experience they underestimate the wait times (could be unintentional...but do it often enough and you can’t really say that’s the case). Definitely worth checking out if passing by and the place isn’t too crowded. |
70 Food is really good, but pricey. Paid $20 for one beer and an appetizer. Nice selection of beer and other drinks. |
84 Good selection of beer and they rotate them, so come back, you can get something new. Food is really good. The wait can be annoying, so make reservations. One of my favorite local stops. |
94 Great tap selection and food is fantastic. |
90 my favorite beer bar in annapolis area. great rotating taps and samplers are available. Solid lists |
86 Best place for beer snobs like me in the Annapolis area. Heroes has more taps but these are better quality beers. Happy hour is great for beer and appetizers. People are friendly. Expanded parking area hopefully addresses the only real complaint I’ve had. |
90 I really llike Lure’s -- only problem is how crowded it gets -- often tough to even park within a comfortable walking distance! Very good food, with an interesting and changing selection of drafts and bottled beers. A bit pricey -- but good value in a flight of 4 drafts. |
74 Nice atmosphere with a large patio. It is a very southern and on the water feel. Great food menu with lots of good food. Beer selection had about 8 beers on tap and maybe 20 select bottles. They did a good job and i would say the selection is top notch for the area but i wasn’t blown away in comparison to other bar/restaurants. I will have to go back to comment on the rotation but defiantly worth a trip if you get there and can find parking which is most challenging. Go during off-peak hours. Beers are over 6 dollars which is accurate and reflected in value. |
90 This is the best place in the annapolis area for craft beers! Theres always something different on tap and an awesome 1/2 price happy hour!! Besides the great beer the food is awesome with different specials every fri, sat & sun. Very relaxed atmosphere with large outdoor patio great for spring and summer. If you havent been to Lures yet you must check it out!! |
92 This is the first place in the area where you could get a great selection of about 15 beers on tap. I used to go to Ramshead Roadhouse due to their vast selection of bottled beer but went to Lures to check it out and found better food and much better draft selection. There is a beer club which cost $30 to join and you get a free beer a month, a hat, and a free birthday meal (up to $20). Since I go there at least once a month this is a good deal. My favorites are the buffalo burger and the blackened tuna sandwich. Parking can be a challenge at times and they have live music on the weekends. |
