68 Visited here instead of Brick because Brick was full. Thanks for St Patricks Day. Nice crafty vibe. Service was good and tap list had lots of interesting local and other beers. Would visit again. |
76 In the square and next to Mac Mcgee’s Irish bar. This is a cool neighborhood hang out bar. They keep a limited but interesting tap selection. The food is good and tend to be pub fare with some southwestern inspired dishes going on. Staff is friendly. Worth checking out for a beer. Not a MUST visit but a good one nonetheless |
88 Located on the square in Decatur, it exists as an escape from some of the better known, and much more crowded, bars. Very friendly staff and owner. The tap list is always interesting; they tend to get some rarer stuff when it hits (my only time having Black Note was here, and it wasn’t gone within an hour like other establishments). |
70 Small little bar located of the "square" i guess. Nothing great in terms of tap list or atmosphere. Fairly standard tap list. Place was dead on a Friday night. To many other good places nearby to seek this place out. |
82 I was with Markwise on the same night! Very good, after being in a few packed pubs it was nice to chill out a bit, the owner talked to us on both occasions which was a nice touch. Great beers and good food, would definately go back! |
82 Cozy, unpretentious and a bit worn, it has the feel of a well-established neighborhood bar. Downstairs is a regular bar and a few tables, upstairs a couch area and a more open place with tables and booths. Servers are alert and very helpful, clearly well-trained. Food is tasty, if not outstanding. Their selection of taps is all craft beers, and most of the bottles are crafts. Definitely worthy of a visit. |
86 Went during a stay in downtown Decatur after some recommendations. Very nice, somewhat cozy little pub with about 20 taps of nice beer (plenty of Hopslam) from low gravity to high gravity. Owner came out and talked to us both times our group went. Service was great both times and the food was very good pub fare. The tater tots with green salsa were excellent and the fried avocado was very nice, too. I will be sure and stop by when I am in the ATL area. |
