| Steve_0 (38), Denver, Colorado | | April 15, 2012 This place has a cool vibe and is decorated nicely. Service is great and the only reason it didn’t get a ten is because they weren’t serving beer in the proper glassware. The food is great and the selection is decent. All CO taps with the exception of one out-of-state. Pretty cool place and I will definitely be back. | | rhialistic (13), Denver, Colorado | | April 1, 2012 My favorite beer bar in town. For me, a convenient location, awesome selection (20 rotating all-craft taps), fantastic food, and AMAZING staff! They often have rare things on tap and beer-related events so follow their facebook/website! Their burgers and pizza and mac n cheese are all ridiculously tasty. I’ve never had bad food here. | | BeerandBlues2 (358), Lone Tree, Colorado | | November 5, 2011 This place is just outside the main downtown area, located next to I-25. The space is huge, open and airy. Nice, well thought out beer selection, and your choice of Stranahan’s Whiskey. The food is prepared nicely and is reasonably priced. Great place to break away from downtown traffic. | | BMan1113VR (279), Los Angeles, California | | October 31, 2011 Cool little place attached to Stranahan’s. Quite a good tap list and the food was excellent as well. Nice atmosphere with barrels surrounding the tables. A nice long bar with lots of Stranahan whiskey bottles. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Parking outside. Prices were reasonable. I had a great time there. | | onceblind (66), Denver, Colorado | | September 19, 2011 Has the appearance of a cellar-turned bar, with racked oak barrels as decoration and a big long bar. Didn’t get any food, but the beer selection was superb, featuring some of the best brews CO has to offer, plus some rare stuff. Very friendly staff who knows their stuff and is liberal with "samples" | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | June 27, 2011 [ Updated September 11, 2011 ] Some rare one off’s here on occasion. I try to pop in every once in a while. The food is excellent and if you’re into spicy food, don’t miss the Spicy Chicken Green Chili. Nice atmosphere. | | mlunger12 (38), Tallahassee, Florida | | November 8, 2010 I went here a couple times right after it opened last year and a couple times since. It is in the old Heavenly Daze building and shares it with Stranahan’s Whiskey. The taps are all Colorado micros, usually nothing too rare but they specialize in the locals, even in liquor. The food is delicious, the mac and cheese was to die for, but its too bad when I was there they didn’t have a frier. I love my grease. | | 3fourths (962), Boulder, Colorado | | August 22, 2010 [ Updated November 14, 2011 ] unsurprisingly stale atmosphere, playing popular bluesy music. beer selection is decent but like every other place in town it’s not elevated to another level by truly quality draft offerings. instead it’s all things you can find elsewhere, most likely with a more alive and enjoyable atmosphere. I can see liking this place if you’re 58 and overweight and drive an RV. | | notalush (256), Denver, Colorado | | February 14, 2010 First, I must say that I really love my wife - she is the only woman I know that would suggest a mini pub crawl for valentine’s day - anyway, this was our lunch stop - large bar/restaurant inside the Stranahan’s Whiskey Distillery - in a desolate-looking, industrial area of Denver - average, fairly attentive staff - the menu is pub grub with a creative twist (for example, fresh cornbread served with jalapeno custard and cranberry compote as spreads) - the food is reasonably priced, and rather good - about 20 taps, focusing solely on CO micros - mostly the big 4 (NB, OB, Odell, Avery), but there are a few smaller breweries represented (Dry Dock, Crabtree) - nothing exciting, but you’ll find something good - their focus on local beer, produce, etc. is something to be respected - a small performance space leads me to believe that live music is often a feature, and from what I understand, there is a cover charge when bands are playing - this is a decent place - I would come back for the food, but I wouldn’t make it a stop simply for beer. | | Ratman197 (122), Arvada, Colorado | | December 30, 2009 Large well lit pub with a friendly knowledgeable staff. The service was prompt and friendly. The selection was great with 20 taps of Colorado beers and lots of small distillary liquors available. Did’nt try the food as I just pigged out on all you can eat ribs at Breckenridge. Very good value with excellent beer prices. Be sure to check this place out! |
