We came here on 9.7.2022. Was close to our hotel in the East. Not a bad spot. 8 beers on tap. The Self Care IPA and Pineapple Sour were both really good. Brewhouse behind the bar, visible through one window. Good music !

10 of their beers on draft. Some creative concepts but the best thing was a fairly straightforward maple porter. Otherwise nothing really blew me away, but nothing was actively bad. Just a bit blander than the suggested flavors would have you believe. Tasting flights are 6 4-oz pours and you can do everything. Perfectly cromulent place, just not a place I'd go too far out of your way for.

Visited July 2016. Nice taproom. They had around 10-12 beers on, I thought that the standard was pretty decent with a variety of styles being served. Taster paddles served. Real friendly service. Worth a visit

Cool spot. Neighborhood is sketchy. 12 beers on, some are quite good. Sample sizes available at reasonable prices.

Classic style brewery in an up and coming neighborhood outside of the downtown area. The ceiling is huge with exposed studs and metal all over the place. Selection isn’t very deep, almost a dozen depending on the number of seasonal beers available when you visit. Pretty huge L shaped bar. Lots of high tables tops in the rest of the area. In the nicer months they can open the garage doors and get a nice breeze through the place. Quality beers and was a great place to just hang out and relax for a while. Not very lively but looks like a really good neighborhood spot.

I really liked this place. The service could have not been better, the place is just the right size, they only had 11 taps but they are all over the map in terms of style and creativity. Value was good, I don’t remember if they had food or not. For me this is a must see if you go brewery hopping in Denver.

Small room. Bar with chairs. 12 taps, cans on sale. Many small tables. Middle of the road music. A few tables on the front porch. No food. Off the beaten track. Fair prices.

Visited during GABF 2015. It was a warm day in Denver and hot outside on the patio. Small place indoors, the building looks like it was a garage or warehouse. Some random art on the walls. A few interesting beers including a rauch, which the bartender felt the need to correct me on pronounciation to add the s sound. Still, solid place and a lot bettter than some of the other breweries i went to during the week.

Mid size taproom. Solid beers. Not as many on tap as some other breweries. Great service.

(Visited 03/2014): Renegade is located on West 9th near downtown. Street parking is available in the surrounding blocks.

The interior of the brick building opens to an open space with tables past the entrance and a zig-zag shaped bar along the rear that has different colored wood.. Brick walls and red paint, and a large windowed garage door which makes the place feel very open. Wooden rafters complete the look. There are a couple large chalkboards behind the bar listing the beers available on draught.

Renegade had 8 beers on tap on my visit, including a Blond, IPA, Brown Ale, English Coffee Ale, APA, and 2 Imperial Stouts (one with curry). and a Triple IPA. The beers were all decent, with a couple standouts. A sampler flight is available as well.

Service at the bar on a relatively busy weekend evening was good. The bartender was friendly and attentive throughout the visit. Renegade does not serve food.

Overall this is a pretty solid brewery in the downtown Denver area.
