Wirtshaus Weißbräu Huber

Restaurant with a nice patio on a small square. Seemed quite crowded during our visit, early and sunny afternoon. Good range from Freising beers. Hefeweizen was excellent. Food was good. Waiter seemed to be in a bit of a rush. Worth checking out.

Visited the place again in 2020 and realized it was one of the first places I had been to when I arrived here almost 20 years ago. Last time I experienced bavarian Frühschoppen on the patio a sunday morn ing, this time enjoyed a unfiltered Jägerbier and a Festbier in the sun. All Freisinger Beers available.

Compact beer garden With a good range of the beers fro Hofbrauhaus Freising. Good local Food, look for the daily specials. A very nice spot for lunch, a few minutes form the main street.

We visited here having just walked back from a snowy walk up the hill to Weihenstephan on Saturday 12th January 2019 on a chilly winters day with plenty of snow on the ground.Wirtshaus Weißbräu Huber is central but if you were walking from the station into town you'd describe it as being to the right at the far end of the central area about 3-4 mins wander from the market place.

It's an impressive solid looking building, that appeared very welcoming and warm on a chill winters evening. Inside it was busy, a single large room with mainly long tables that were frequently shared by groups we noticed, and there was a good mix of individuals, young, old, male and female. Service was prompt, friendly and helpful. We ate traditional hearty German food and as expected there was lots of it and it was reasonably priced. I had the beef (rolled) and boiled in the copper pot, Austrian I think, it was excellent.

They had a good tap and bottle choice, we both went for the Huber Weisses Hubertus, a real winter warmer and very good though not as good as the Weihenstephan equivalent we'd just had up the hill. We liked it here and would certainly revisit when in town next.

Visited a couple of weeks ago when with friends. Big Pub, normally nice big seating area outside. Currently [June 2018] there is construction on the street though. Good selection of Weisse and traditional food. Good place in the city centre. Prices are normal for Freising

Nice brewpub, traditional german, dark wood, etc. Nice garden in front. Just managed to get a fast beer before closing time. 10 or so beers on tap, House beers + Friesing brau. Good service and fair prices. Like to visit another time.

The best beer resturant with good food and the local beers.

Friendly service even the patio was packed on a Tuesday night. 13 beers (Huber Weisses and Hofbrau Freising). In the middle of the town.

Nice brewpub, the usual wood panneling but cosier than normal. Good service and a mixture of good and not so good beers. The 2 person Bavarian platter was a thing of beauty and even Colin and I could not quite finish it. Good value too. Very nice place.

Visited during Jolly to Bamberg 2014. Quite a nice place to visit for lunch and beers on a sunday. Good selection of their own beers, nice food abd strict but efficient serice. Not very crowded, good beers.
