74 Large open bar with two levels. A mix of beers in tap from local to Belgian (Cantillon), to UK bitter to US (Stone).
Didn’t get to the bottle list but looks pretty impressive - got to try next time |
64 More of an eatery than a bar and very busy when we called in on a Tuesday afternoon. Decent beer list. |
66 Visited in the middle of the week at 10 pm and not much people. Fancy place with modern style. Nice selection of beers. At the visit no beer nerds. |
74 It's a restaurant rather than a multitap, although the tap selection is quite massive (ca. 30) (and quite poor, too; some focus on local micros, and breweries like Stone and Lindemans mostly; abv held between 4-6%). Old styled inn character inside. Not my cup. Overrated here. And overpriced- they rip you off on Norwegian rates. |
80 Popped in for a beer on the go. Was delighted to find a good mix of local and more ”exotic” beers as well as standard beers as well. Friendly and cozy place. Could have stayed there longer, time permitting. This is a place I’ll come back to. Maybe get their t-shirt too...:-) |
80 Nice, fairly large place with a good tap selection and decent bottle range. Good food. |
78 Good ambience although main space is given over to restaurant. Not quite comfortable just for drinking. Bar has over twenty taps of local and international beers. Staff helpful but not overly attentive. |
84 (I am local to the area/Gothenburg). I go here fairly often, even when the same place housed Delirium Cafe all those years ago. Recently remodeled. Have been doing awesome tap takeovers. Have increased staff both at the bar and for the tables, rarely have to wait long for service these days. 30+ taps that more often than not spot some of Sweden and Scandinavia’s craft brews. Good food, nice tap and bottle selection. Can get fairly crowded, if you plan to eat and don’t want to eat by the bar it is a good idea to reserve a table. Service is great and friendly. Not the cheapest place you’ll see in Sweden, but it is well worth it for the beer, the food and the service. Offers tastings for groups, either if you book a separate one, or sign up for one of their planned "open" tastings. Upstairs seating or stay by the bar if not eating, tables donwstairs mainly for dinner guests. Also tends to be a popular lunch place. Walkable from tram and bus stops Lilla Bommen, Brunnsparken, Domkyrkan and Stenpiren. No public transport stops right outside, but rather close by foot to the ones mentioned above. Parking on the street available just outside. |
74 Visited Marts 2017. Easy to find, trams stops just 5 minuts walk from the pub. Being there at lunch time made the pub very busy, serving lunch. But we finally got to be served our beers, and was after all allowed to sit by a table, even though we were not eating. Nice selection of beers, served in good condition. At my next visit I will probably try to arrive a bit later, so they have stopped serving lunch.. But for sure a nice place :-) |
88 My great friend gnoff took me here during my visit to Gothenburg. A great place, especially during the mid afternoon. Very nice bar layout and friendly service. I would make this my day-time drinking place if i lived in the city. |
