Bar Le Duc

Op vrijdag 22 juni bezocht 2018. Typisch bruin café. Met diverse huisbieren van eigen Kolleke brouwerij. Goed aanbod van andere bieren waaronder zelfs zeldzame. Werkt ook elk seizoen met andere kaart.

We visited here on Wednesday 27th September 2017. It was a wonderful day and so we chose to sit at one of the outside tables. By the way it is a great spot for people watching, we sat looking at the comings and goings in the excellent bike shop across the road. Bar Le Duc is on Korenbrugstraat there are a number of cafes/bars along here including one we visited the previous day whose name I have briefly forgotten. It is located reasonably central and is easy to get to from either the market place/centre or railway station.

Having read the reviews below we chose to avoid trying one of their own beers instead opting for the safer guest list. We ate here and the food was very good (toasties). The staff were friendly enough and service was very good. It was a popular place with all ages. I only had a brief look inside and it looked very traditional 'Brown Café' style. I liked it here, however maybe that was because I sensibly opted to not try their own products.

Old and worn brown café in what seems to be a busy café area of the city center, there’s also a decent sized but super busy terrace out front. A selection of their own beers on tap from their attached brewery, though as others have mentioned, they’re not very good.

I agree with Scott, niceplace but their own beers are crap. Bottle selection is mostly Belgian with no real surprises.

Nice looking place with a decent selection. Their own ’kolleke’ beers are quite generic though.

Nice bar. ’T kolleke is the home brand and it is not so good. At carnaval it is great.

Packed and crammed small place, I don’t fancy too much places with so many items hanging from the ceiling. The service is kind. Unfortunately the cigarette smokes flows from the outside in. Very bad beers, invest in a brewer.

Beautiful bar. I always go here for carnaval. The beers are not so great.

This pub in Den Bosch’ centre might offer you some new beers as a foreigner but it won’t do your taste buds any good. The interior looks very nice, but the beers are just no good. Too bad, but it is what it is.
