Two trips over the past year, the second being today. And old-ish (or old-ish looking) Irish pub inside an actually old building in downtown Janesville. Just a warning: there’s a "Riley’s" pub that’s a sports bar dominated by BMC products literally right across the street - don’t get confused! Large mostly carnivorous menu with some Irish/English emphasis, and a third of the taps are Irish/English macros, so the number of actual good beers on tap isn’t huge. But the place does have plenty of charm - I like the groovy 60s-70s gold stripes on the wooden back bar, and the booth seating is intimate and comfy. Most of the quality taps are going to be Midwestern - Great Lakes, Three Floyds, New Glarus, Capital etc. I had a GL Chillwave (excellent) and an Ale Asylum that tasted off - at this point I’ll reserve judgment on whether that’s the pub’s fault as I’ve had a few products from that brewery that tasted funny. Overall a good bet if you want good beer and pub atmosphere in downtown Janesville.

Me and the lady stopped here for lunch a few weeks ago. Place was pretty much dead as it was a sunday afternoon. Fod was awesome. I got the reuben and she had the shepards pie. Both were phenomenal. Great beer selection. I had the lakefront chad and kentucky bourbon barrel stout. Bartender knew her stuff and had lots of great suggestions.

Cool place to go, had a great time here, reminded me of what a Irish pub is represented as here in America. Great brews on tap to pick from. Tried the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale and they served it in the proper snifter. Food was decent, not going to blow your socks off, but the cranberry slaw was a must have side dish. Try to snag a booth if you can.

Small pub in Janesville, WI. Around Christmas they had KBS on tap for $4 a pint, awesome deal. Small place with a large bar that is the length of the pub, there isn’t a ton of seating so if you get there and it’s busy you usually have to wait some. We bring our young son here often for lunch and it’s a family friendly atmosphere. 24 taps at all times and they usually have some pretty cool stuff along with normal stuff.
