68 Stopped in during my bachelor party a while back. A weird spot in a relatively big place with mainly bar seating, video poker and a few pool tables. Service was mediocre. Selection was decent with samplers available. Did not try the food on my visit. Prices seemed pretty good. If you are in the area might be worth a stop but Aces and Ales is better IMO. |
48 This place is like a nightclub for people over 70. Except with music from recent times. Gambling machines and smoking I felt like I was in the heyday of casinos. Beer selections were below par, as were the examples of styles they were trying to offer. Service was like calling out to the people at nightclubs that think they are above you. Hoping you get their attention. Prices for the crappy beer left something to be desired. Pass. |
40 Once here will be enough for me. No signage wether to sit or wait, so we got ignored before I wandered in to look at the board. Greeted with sarcasm from the bartender which the drunks at the video poker bar thought was hilarious. I did not. Ordered a flight - they had ten beers. The flight, when it came, had 5 that I didn’t pick and the number price and choices were not advertised. Woulda been nice to know. Dropped off without letting me know the cost. No interaction thereafter.
Beers were ok. Not one bad one, but nothing special either. Aces and Ales is 0.3 miles away, so I don’t see myself making this trip again. |
80 Great place with good service. Some great brews and the rest at least adequate. Video games embedded in the bar was nice too. I was happy to visit this place. After all there is not too much good beer brewed in Las Vegas. |
74 Ambiance: Nice looking building with a real rustic feel to it, outdoor patio embraces the desert motive. Bar is a U shaped bar that can sit 20+ patrons, every spot with a video poker machine, scattered hightop tables around the bar, a small gaming room off to the side
Service: decent and friendly, not totally attentive
Selection: they had 8 in house taps , one local collaboration, 2 guest taps and several bottles for sale, normal array of beer styles
Value: Prices were roughly $6 per beer, not all served in pint glasses though, so slightly higher for the beer quality
Overall, a decent place to go visit if you have a car, a little off the beaten path (15 minute drive) of the strip and downtown and could have done without the smoking but a nice place to visit overall. |
70 Very good guys! 10+ beers won’t let you get bored. Dark ones are the best. Watch for seasonals. |
82 Mostly locals here but the wife and I didn’t feel out of place. The bartender was knowledgeable about the beers and willing to talk about them. Video gaming machines embedded in the bar which wasn’t a bad thing. We played enough to get our 10 beer flight comped. The only food on the property at the time was a vending machine but it looks like they might have food trucks from time to time. We would definitely go here again. |
82 As others have said...probably the best craft brewery in Vegas...and thankfully off the strip. They have a large and well made lineup with a variety of hoppy beers as well as pilsners, stouts, and some German styles. The atmosphere is very nice with all the wood although some might find it a bit dark after sundown. I liked the glass holders for the flights...very original twirling metal holders similar to candle holders. Although in craftbeer rich areas this might be considered only a bit above average...in Vegas’ limited craft market...it’s a star! |
90 Located a bit off the beaten path, this is the crown jewel of Vegas craft brewing. With 10 in house beers on tap, there is a nice variety. Every single beer is solid and a damn fine example of the style. Tim doesn’t dabble in the exotic sour/wild ale arena. He just brews well balanced IPAs, fantastic Pilsners (the very best I have ever had), and flavorful brown ales. If your in sin city, do yourself a favor and take the time to swing by his place. You will not be disappointed........ |
88 Great place not to far off HWY, good selection of brews..great progressive VDP...only locals would car bout that. Very good brews. Jackalope is great! A must visit. |
