62 How times have changed. The owners spend very little time here and as a result, it looks like things have slipped. Food quality has decreased while prices have gone up a bit. They still have a good selection of German beers, but nothing you can’t get at the local Total Wine. Service is middle of the road. |
96 Great place to have some excellent street food and some great beer. While they only have three on tap (Weihenstephan Hefe, Warsteiner or Veltin’s, and Kostritzer), they have a VERY expansive bottle selection. Plus, if you have a 1L stein, drafts are only $10. Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a beer Leesburg. |
84 Hole in the wall German restaurant that specializes in German truck food and german beers. They currently have weihenstephan on tap. Tried the brats, fries (pommes), handmade soft pretzels all were fabulous. They have FSC on the TVs and live music on the weekends. Highly recommended. |
80 What an awesome place! Great ambiance! Live music on Saturday night. The brats are amazing. Why we don’t have doners all across America is a mystery to me. They have three beers on tap but two of them are stone cold killers. Will definitely come back. |
48 A funky little German patio joint with a newly added interior dining room. Decent beer selection on tap ranging from Warstiener, to Kostriker, to Weihenstephaner, and sometimes Eggenberg. They also have a nice selection of German bottled beers. The food is tasty, the place is impeccably clean and service is zippy. You can bring your own steins and boots, they have a pretty good live music/openmic/singalong party on the weekends, a may fest blow out, Octoberfest, and a Chistkindle market for the holidays. In cooler weather they hang the plasma tv outside for a great day of sports and drinking on the sunny patio. |
