Small dedicated parking right in front. Didn’t ask for help here. Selection didn’t seem as good as Beaumont. The tap selection were really pedestrian. I did buy one nice bottle here.

Overview: Liquor Barn on Richmond Rd. is eerily like the one close to my house (Fern Valley Rd, Louisville). You walk in the store and hit the foods first (typical smaller store LB selection), and theres little islands of featured drinks up front, followed by vertical shelving, with the beer on the far left. They also have eight taps for growlers, though there’s nothing particularly noteworthy on any of them. However, their selection of single bottles is somewhat better than the store near my house, and I didn’t see much in terms of old or dusty bottles. Still, it’s Liquor Barn, so check your dates anyway. Service was maybe better than any other LB i’ve visited; there was a man helping a lady in wines almost as soon as I walked down the aisle, and another employee asked if I needed assistance as well- all within about a five minute span. Everything is priced competitively. PROS: Attentive service; solid selection; competitive pricing. CONS: Nothing glaring, selection isn’t as strong as Plaudit place (which is like five minutes away in good traffic), so I’m not sure why you’d bother coming here unless it was really more local to you. OVERALL: A good LB, but is easily overshadowed by the other LB in the area. Parking in a small lot on site.

A party store with a fair amount of singles, but I don’t know how fresh they are. Some growler taps too. Pretty predictable selection though. Service was friendly and answered all if my questions; this just happens to be more of a spirit and wine-oriented place.

Not going to lie, came here looking for bourbon deals since I was on the bourbon trail. Scored some bourbon only sold in Kentucky at a great price so main goal accomplished. I did grab some beer here too, specifically Great Lakes (can’t get at home) and some Lexington Brewery brews. Overall it was the hard liquor offerings that awe-struck me, the beer offerings were very good though too. I’m not use to liquor mega-stores so anything bigger then a 7-11 impresses me. So a good rating for existing, deep down I wish one of these were local.

Another Liquor Barn to keep you on your toes. Lots of old products here so buyer beware. I found a four pack of Founders Harvest on the shelf months after the beer was released. And like all Liquor Barns in Lexington, there is still Great Divide (including Fresh Hop!) long after Great Divide pulled out of Kentucky. Still, you’ll find something unique that you didn’t find elsewhere no doubt.

Easy to get too, but the parking lot is too small. Looked like they had a nice selection of cheeses, sausages, and party favors but I didn’t pay close attention. I noticed a humidor but I did not look in it. Looked like plenty of wine (though I can’t vouch for the quality), and the beer selection was solid. I personally thought the prices on bourbon were great! I picked up two bottles for what I might have paid double for in Tennessee and would never have been able to find in Alabama. Eagle Rare and 4 Roses were recommended by their staff and they did not disappoint.

Mom and Pop warehouse and deli ambiance. Lots of domestics and regional beers, including Bells, Stone, Barrel House, Schlafly, Atwater, New Holland, BBC, Dogfish Head, etc. Belgian and European selection was a little disappointing. I was not sure if they broke sixers or not, but I was there to get Bells and Stone. Some seasonals seem to stick around longer than in most markets, so this is worth a stop. Upon checkout, I asked if I could get a box, and the cashier rudely pointed to the corner. So I had to drag all my beers over there and box them myself. I can see why the Knoxville crew comes here to stock up, since I live in TN. Good place to get the Bells lineup. Just don’t expect any service.

this place wasnt all expected. selection less than the other store, service was horrible. despite being told we could mix singles from six packs and cases, they didnt ring up at the register as singles and cashier gave us the impression we were a bother.

It’s all about selection here. The ambiance, if you can call it that, is like a warehouse. The service is fine if you approach someone, but don’t expect a lot of "may I help you" here. But what a huge selection of American micros. One full aisle of that, then another of imports. The imports seemed a bit skimpier, and the Belgian selections was smaller than I expected, but I would certainly make the trip from Knoxville again.
