36 Well, seems to be the same selection now and back in 2012 when Gunnar visited. Standard craft selection, nothing more. Better to visit Vinmonopolet nearby. (Visited July 14th 2022) |
38 This shop used to stock a lot from Norwegian micros, not any more, the same selection as my local Meny store. Nogne O and Haandbryggeriet selection are ok, but thats about it. |
48 Decent seletion of beer, but nothing special anymore. No uncommon Norwegian micros at the time of my visit (except Ægir Wit).
A good selection of Norwegian micros and (mainly British) imports. Most of the bottles are available in Meny shops in Oslo (some maybe just at Centra and Jacobs). Worth stopping by if you are in the area (typically if you’re driving at E18 between Oslo and Drammen), but not worth a detour (or a trip in itself). |
50 A nice grocery store with a lot of differnt Norwegian micro beers, several of them normally only available in a small area around the brewery. Inderøy and Ægir was available when I visited, and of course the lower strenght beers from Nøgne Ø and Haandbryggeriet. Also a decent selection of British imports, and of course the usual macros and some cider. Will definitely stop by next time I’m on my way from or to Oslo. |
66 This is a large grocrey shop (supermarket) with and unusual good (by Norwegian standards) selection of special beers. They cover Norwegian micro brewries (Nøgne Ø, Haandbryggeriet) and English and Scottish ales in particular, plus of course a large number of lagers. Due to legal regulations, however, to get brews stronger than 4.7 % vol you need to go to the "Wine Monopoly" |
