| nate2g (320), Marlborough, New Zealand | | May 21, 2012 The selection is impressive and the staff are keen to geek out on beer talk. Shame it’s not in my neck of the woods otherwise I’d pop in frequently. | | JBud (10), , England | | May 5, 2012 Pretty nice little beer shop some 10-15mins walk from Richmond station. The place stocks a good choice of UK beers; The Kernel, BrewDog, Camden Brewery, DarkStar. It also stocks a variiety of Belgium Trappists and American crafts. One novelty is the guests kegs they have allowing you to take away a growler. The shop also runs "Meet the Brewer" events which are an excellent way to taste a good variety of beers and learn something about them too. Attended a BrewDog event the other week which was good, the shop was full with BD beers and during the event tried the new AB:09 and IPA is Dead series. Would recommend attending one of these events and visiting the shop. | nickdolan (3), Twickenham, England does not count - explanation | | February 10, 2012 This is a great place, well worth a visit! | | Boudicca (205), London, England | | September 18, 2011 This is a great little shop, on a street corner in St Margarets, just over the bridge from Richmond. It has a good choice of bottles from microbreweries in various parts of the UK and elsewhere, all set out very neatly on the shelves and priced reasonably. It’s light and airy and a pleasant place to visit, made all the better when our good pal Duff is on duty. When we were there in July there was a barrel on the counter and free tastings.

| | MikeJohnson (11), Feltham, Middlesex, England | | August 10, 2011 A beer shop that is going from strength to strength. An often bewildering array of beers and beer styles to chose from. Easy to spend more than intended when visiting! | | bhensonb (375), Woodland, California | | May 21, 2011 District line to Richmond. Bus to Cresswell Rd. Walk a couple blocks to 371. Bingo. Staff was super attentive and knowledgable. Very many choices. Probably over fifty I hadn’t rated. It’s a very easy trip from London, if you have enough value on your Oyster card (I had to recharge on return). It’s a don’t miss stop. | | Scopey (150), Croydon, England | | March 6, 2011 Great small beer shop located 15 minutes from Richmond tube station. They focus primarily on a well-picked British selection with some interesting Belgian, American and German options as well. At my last visit there was a great range of Kernel, Brewdog and Thornbridge (including Bracia!). The staff are always friendly and fairly knowledgable. They regularly host meet the brewery events and offer a loyalty card system, which is great for frequent customers. | | tmrmwel (15), Bergen, Norway | | February 8, 2011 A very nice little beer shop in a nice area, a bit off the beaten track (a fifteen minute walk from the Richmond end stop of the District tube line). Still it’s well worth the trip, as it boasts a fairly large and interesting selection of british beers, and also stocks selected other items mainly US and Belgian. The staff is very service minded and knowledgeable, and are more than happy to inform and recommend from the selection available. | | berkshirejohn (109), Bracknell, England | | October 7, 2010 [ Updated October 11, 2010 ] A bright modern store with a reasonable range. Much is common, but there is some interesting stuff including the local Twickenham Ales, one of which is available on draught. Prices are fairly steep, particularly for the beers that can be found on supermarket shelves near by. | | downender (196), Bristol, England | | August 5, 2009 Visited on 2 August 2009. Decent selection of beers in terms of quantity, with every one scoring highly on quality. British beers from the likes of Brew Dog, Oakleaf and Thornbridge, a decent choice of Andechs, craft ciders and some unusual US beers too. Well worth a visit. |
