Went in to get Sam Adams Cherry Wheat and they had it, along with an assortment of wine for the girlfriend, the employees were friendly and helped find what we needed, they do have amazingly low prices but when you sell as much as they do you can lower them!!!

(Update 3/08... Selection is improving, a couple of annuals from Rogue are back, I am told the improved offerings is due to more WIU students becoming familiar with and drinking craft beer. Good for them.)... Since the last 2 reviews, the store has remodeled, adding cooler space, yet somehow manage to get worst as far as selection goes. No more Rogues, only macro seasonals, very limited selection of Anchor Stream, Goose Island, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, etc... just the bare basics, no more than three offering from these microbrewers, usually just one. Also, you need to check for age, micros and imports have a tendency to sit on the shelves. This is a good place for cheap malt liquors/40’s and cheap spirits. Both students and locals shop here for cheap booze and kegs. Blue Moon is usually the cheapest here, cheaper than other liquor stores. Like everywhere in Macomb, no Sunday package sales. No singles/mix-a-six section.

Again, another store i used to go to alot when i was going to school at Western Illinois University. They dont have much, but they did have Sierra nevada, goose Island, Wolavers, Rogue, and Anchor brews. Very dirty place!! lots of college kids buying shit beer there also. pretty typical for a small college town.

Updated rating, 9/24/2010: The beer selection here has grown considerably, and you can now get mix-a-sixes for $9.99. Quite a wide variety of Oktoberfest and pumpkin beers were to be had; most of the shelfspace is now dedicated to craft beers, something I NEVER thought I’d see here. Locally, I’d now say that this place has a better selection than Hy-Vee. Staff is mainly comprised of local college students who are usually found talking to their friends by the registers. Store still feels the same: crowded and cluttery.
