| JoePeesie (63), Long Lake, Illinois | | September 20, 2011 same solid pricing as the rest of the Binny’s smaller bottle selection and freshness can be questionable. Service is so so as far as knowledgeable staff. | sgsoxfan (2), Spring Grove, Illinois does not count - explanation | | November 2, 2009 Selection Is better than average. With the Binnys club card , you can get decent discounts | | Narnad (19), Wonder Lake, Illinois | | July 22, 2009 As mentioned previously, the selection and stocked brews are about half of what they generally are at the other larger Binny’s retail shop. Sale prices on beers are pretty good but price tend to be a bit on the high side for general shopping. Selection is the best in the area, minus Armenetti down in Woodstock. The service is average as there are two guys that really seem to help out, one in the wine section and one in the beer. Overall a decent store to stop in and grab something if your looking for something different in the area. | | TheGuy (26), Illinois | | July 9, 2009 This is small for a binnys but jim the beer guy is very knowledgeable when KBS hit the market this year every place was sold out so i called up there and jim saved me my 2 bottle alotment one thing different from other binnys is they do break down some high quality american craft beers like founders, bells and some dark horse to move the produt also had the new goose islands sophie, juliet and naughty goose red felt and a lot of other beers that move fast are still sitting on shelves here | IDunno19 (5), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | July 22, 2008 Still a little jaded by my limited experience with beer and liquor stores, but this was a great place with a number of beers that I couldn’t get anywhere in Iowa. Or at least, couldn’t fine. | | Ughsmash (138), Waukesha, Wisconsin | | January 14, 2008 I took an obscure route home from a business trip to stop by this Binny’s. It had the typical bright warehousey feel to it, and the area for beer was big enough, but rather sparsely populated. I was able to dig up a few obscure beers that I was looking for, as long as some Bourbon County Stout. This is probably a good stop if you’re in this area, though.. as I’m not sure where the closest comparable store is. | | awaller05 (19), Sharon, Wisconsin | | February 6, 2007 Nice addition to the McHenry County liquor scene. I try not to ask many questions if I’m in a hurry. The main cashier is well versed and will tell you more than enough info. I have missed a appointed time by talking to him. Good selection of Belgium brews, and other far away micros. | TechMyst (1), Fox River Grove, Illinois does not count - explanation | | October 12, 2006 Decent prices. Good selection. |
