60 Not much of a beer spot, but a great Eastern European Deli and Restaurant. The deli is in one room with about every type of sausage possible and the restaurant is right next door. Service is good but not at all beer oriented. Pilsner Urquell on tap with a number of Eastern European ticks that are not particularly rare. Food is delicious and the reason to stop here. Prices are good. |
58 Sort of a difficult place to rate. This isn’t a beer destination by any means. It’s a traditional deli that happens to have a few beers on offer. Stuff like Pilsner Urquell and Surly Furious is available for the thirsty. The real attraction of Kramarczuk’s is the amazing eastern European fare. I had some dumplings with horseradish sour cream that were very tasty. Prices were great. Service is friendly, but minimal considering that it’s a cafeteria. Overall, I wouldn’t have added this place if it wasn’t in the database. Come here for the food, go elsewhere if you’re looking for a beer. |
58 Ha oh right I suppose they do have some beers in the Cafeteria. Well the food is amazing, been coming here with my father since I was about 4. Fuck New Bohemia, you want real Bohemian food come here. |
70 The Holy Grail of Eastern European deli’s. Sausages, sauerkraut, pyroshki, cabbage rolls, goulash, sandwiches, etc. Best Reuben EVER! Very nice selection of German, European and local beers... not big, but nice. |
56 Food is fantastic. I recommend the cabbage rolls. Or just go the combo plate. They have pretty much every baltika offering know to man. Plus some other European beers. They also have surly in both can and on tap. The cool part (in my opinion) was that they have Sunner kolsch on tap and at a reasonable price. That being said, this is a glorified market/cafeteria that also has a dozen or so beer offerings. Cone for the foodand good for you if you get a beer. This is definitely not a craft beer destination. But seriously eat here. |
40 Sorry, a couple Baltika’s does not mean this should be on ratebeer. Surdyk’s is across the street. Come here for the food, but having this place in the ratebeer database is kind of silly and misleading for someone who may be traveling and thinks they can find beer in this place. UPDATE july 2012. I am going to throw a couple more points. They have a few beers, $3.25 for an Urquell on tap, a couple Surly cans and German taps as well. Still not a beer destination, but they have a few beers. |
