92 Would move this to the top of my list for favorite palces in Minneapolis. Excellent selection, full pours and flights. Nice little food menu too. Bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato was a big hit. Cozy adn comfortable, ambient lighting. Loved this place. |
86 A killer place with an impeccably well-chosen taplist. Flights of 4 available for $13, which is steep of course, but when you see the selection, you'll accept the price -- plus the bartenders will give you free samples. Very friendly service, open to chat. Comfortable, classier bar feel. Must-hit when in Minneapolis. |
92 Great beer bar across from Town Hall. Bartender was super friendly and helpful. Mushroom and quinoa burger was very good. I'd come back. |
86 This is a place I could gush over for hours. Inside does not have a single television but looks like it has been preserved from some much older time. Inside is absolutely beautiful. Outside is a good sized patio. Personally, their happy hour is the best for a beer bar in the Twin Cities between their food and beer reduced prices and frequency. Their service is always solid and their prices are on point. Their food is out of this world and made from scratch, even their ketchup. They offer some like 75 beers on tap but they do not seem to change very often. Overall, the selection is still very good, it only becomes a problem when you go a few times a week for a long period of time. |

92 Wow, what a bar! 100+ taps orgainized into 5-6 broad categories on the menu, helpful for finding what you want or organize a flight. Lots of beers from MSP/MN/USA, a handful of internationals. Friendly but not phony bartenders. Close to light rail. If you’re not here you’d better be dead or in jail. |
80 Nice place. About 100 beers on tap. Flights of 4 available. Friendly service and pretty tasty food. |
88 Dark place, nice ambiance. I had just eaten but the menu looked solid. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Large draft list with lots of local and non-local options, and some rarities. Decent prices. Definitely a worthwhile stop. |
90 They do flights, food is ridiculously good (quinoa mushroom burger was absurd). They do house-made ketchup that’s really really good. Plus their guacamole is ridiculous. Add to that, a well-laid out beer menu, and something like 50-100 taps and you’re talking about a good place. A+. |
