There is a Whole Foods near here if you want to compare, but I think the selection is better here and of course the prices are a million miles better. Good representation from local, NH and Mass brewers, reasonable selection from Maine and VT, though nothing rare. Best groceries in the area too, I thought. Good for routine daily beer shopping.

It’s a large grocery store, so what can you expect? However I have noticed that this Market Basket along with many others always have an above average beer selection, especially for a grocery store. And they sell the beers at grocery store prices, which are often less than a specialty shop.

I was suprised to see the expansion of their beer section to now include an new display of Samuel Smith Oatmeal and Shakespeare Stout as well as Unibrou and Rogue 22 oz bottles. It also carries a large selection of beers. In addition to the Macros I found Gearys, Newcastle, Harpoon, Nutfield, Red Hook, Harp, Petes, Harpoon, Sam Adams, Shipyard, Magic Hat, Long Trail, Saranac, Tuckermans, Anchor Steam, Sierra Nevada and Smuttynose and others in both six pack and 12 packs at very good prices.
