Ok, this is really surprising to have a place with such a wide selection of beers from all over the world in a small village like this (update: I've checked their bottle beer list in details...well, I'm completely amazed!!!)

Nernier is quiet. Very quiet. You’re probably here because you’ve just come from the nearby tourist honeypot of Yvoire. Well, as beautiful as Nernier is, there’s nothing here. Expect for this incredible beer pub that is, only a small selection ’au fût’ but some striking names: Sainte Cru, Anderson Valley, Extraomnes, BFM. Bottle menu is also small but equally adventurous. You will get ticks. And the best part? The reasonable prices (for the area that is).

An absolute gem in the middle of nowhere. In a small village an hour drive (through country roads) and bordering the lake you will find small (good!) restaurants, French romance, low key life, mountain views and one (if not the) best beer bars in France. It starts at the amazing beer menu. 8 taps with the Euro craft, including the (somewhat) nearby and great Mont Salève and Vallée du Giffre, giving IPAs, Belgian ales, stouts and more. The bottle list is amazing because of the selection of modern brewers. Lots of BFM, Mont Salève, Vallée du Giffre, The Kernel, De Molen, Brew Dog, Lost Coast, quality Belgians and more. Every style is there too. The owner has amazing knowledge of beer, brewers and customer service and is generally a fun and friendly guy. I spoke French with the him, but his English is very good too. The crowd is surprisingly trendy and young, considering the location of the bar. A bit too crowded perhaps if you don’t want to mix and mingle, but then again it was Saturday late night. Food only comes in the form of some crisps. There’s a terrace at the back and people also use the street. Adorable village surroundings, top notch brews and service and to finish off a extremely fair price point for everything. If only this bar was located close to my house....
