Great brewery taproom located on a lovely island in a beautiful town. It was super crowded on sunny summer day in early August. Hard times to find a table outside but we still managed to do so within reasonable time. I ordered a flight of five beers of 15 cl from the 15 (?!) taps. Quite expensive actually, and the bigger beers cost extra. Many bottled beers are available for takeaway. Not cheap either but also far from ordinary. Great to see the barrel room and the brewing kit while waiting in the queue. Firendly and knowledgeable staff despite so much work on that day. No food, although there is a food truck next to it and I tried the bakskuld as well. Worth a try! All in all, this was one of my most memorable brewery/taprooms experiences ever, although the beers were only decent but not great. The beatiful area is a plus.

Visited July 2022. A wide range of keg beers as well as bottles from Fanø available, as is food from a food truck - although only until 20:00, bar was until 22:00. Tried local Bakdunk (slightly dried and oked flat fish). Great service at the bar. Seating available both indoors and outdoors.

Beers are good with a wide variaty of both bottles and taps. Samplers can be bought, which is positive. Service is fair, but self service. Ambience is as expected, but with a more heavy malty stench, than usual for my visits to other brewpubs. Outside we were unfortunately seated next to a very smelly toilet.

Cozy little place with outside seating. A handful of taps with Fanø brews and an array of boxes with current Fanø releases to pick and mix from. All of which appear to be in the fridge too to drink on site. A few bottles from other brewers too ( I noticed Ugly Duck and Howling Monkey). Prices are good, I walked away with a bunch of new ticks and a couple of old favorites which were on sale.

Visited at the slumber party :-).. Lovely small island pub, cosy atmosphere with all the brewing stuff in the back of the pub. . Upstairs a smal seating area as well. Close to the beach, and with parking spaces nearby. Several beers on tap and some nice beers on bottles as well. For sure worth a revisit, and if you are on Fanø you have to visit :-)

I visited this place a few times during a recent touristic visit and based on the selection of high quality beer and the fact that it’s brewed on site I would be hard pressed to think of a more interesting place for a craft beer visit in the region of Southern Denmark. Perhaps the likes of the Esbjerg pub Dronning Louise and the Kolding pub "You’ll Never Walk Alone" would match it since they carry local microbrew as well but the beer at Fanø is just on a different level. Worth a detour if you’re in the Esbjerg area. About the ambience: It gives some nice ambience that the serving area is inside the brewery production area giving you the opportunity to follow the process somewhat and maybe ask a question or two of the brewer. Always a plus. In case of good weather there’s the option to sit on the terrace under parasols. However, the proximity to the trafficked road and the immediate surroundings detract a bit from this part of the ambience. Serving staff are knowledgeable and service minded. The selection on tap is somewhat conventional as they carry their best selling "mainstream beers" on the first four or five taps, while an additional two taps allow for more experimental beers. It’s even possible to get a tasting menu of five 1 dl glasses for 59 DKK. Furthermore, a fridge gives you the opportunity to explore some of the more rare specialty beers that the brewery has made recently. Unfortunately, a drink-in fee of 20 DKK put a bit of a dampener on the urge to drink these on site as you might as well bring them home and save the fee. If you see something from the fridge you like I’d encourage you to buy it on the spot and not wait a day or two. As I had the impression that turnover from the fridge wasn’t terribly high I waited until the day of our departure to stock up on bottles with the result that all the bottles I was interested in had been sold out in the interim period.

Lovely place, especially to sit outside on a sunny day. Part of the brewery with the taps right next to the mashing tun. All the regular Fanø beers and quite a few specials available on bottle

Small cozy taproom infront the brewery, and a small seating on the first floor aswell. Really friendly, knowable and helpfull service. 5 taps and about 20 bottles to choose from when we visited, all of very high quality.
