The Contented Cow

This is the go-to bar in Northfield for most of the college students. They frequently have musical guests, and do not charge a cover. While the tap selection is nothing particularly special, they do always have a few craft options. In addition, the food, particularly the artichoke dip, is very good. I can’t complain with the ploughman’s plate either. What really wins me over is the patio though, especially on a night with live music outside. Not a bad place.
