May 17, 2012 A nice clean feel to the place with a nice bar that gets crowded during busy hours. Selection is quite nice and seems to rotate quickly. Food has been good and service is good but can be a touch slow at times. Staff is fairly knowledgable. Worth a stop if in the area. |

November 9, 2010 Went in for lunch just as they were opening - must have just run the dishwashers or something as there was a pronounced hot-stale-beer-and-soap aroma that detracted from the otherwise great ambiance (pretty sure this is not typical). Service was good and the bartender pretty knowledgeable. Food is solid. Great tap list. The bottle list contained a few real rarities (some retired) but you would pay dearly for the privilege. |

May 2, 2010 Great place with a great selection. Beer manger Andrew is always helpful in making difficult choices. Always something new with constant roatation of taps. A bit pricey, yet understandable considering the location. |

April 21, 2010 My favorite beer bar. The selection is the best in this area by far. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I attend there monthly beer dinners which are great. What a great way to learn new beer’s and have a great meal. The meal is above average but sometimes inconsistent. The beer is always great. |

March 4, 2010 finally southern connecticut gets a beer bar worth visiting. I have been several times now and they have been consistent. tap selection generally has a few real nice ones and overall the draft list is not shabby. bottle selection has a few gems and aged bottles. food is better than average but nothing has been stunning for me yet. the regular pour glasses are big so they are a good value. It took some time to get things settled in and a good number of the servers are still lacking in knowledge. overall this is the best in the state I have found and they continue to get better. |

July 30, 2009 One of the better -- if not best -- beer pubs in all of Southern Connecticut. It boasts a wide (and I mean, "wide") selection of beers on tap along with a great menu. The beer dinners sponsored by breweries are highly recommended and sell-out quickly. Also, the staff knows their stuff! |

July 14, 2009 Visited friends in CT. One of the best places I have had beers at. Outstanding selection. 58 on tap and 100+ bottles. We went there just for the beer, so I can’t rate the place on food. I will make my way back there! |

July 7, 2009 Much better than the Greenwich location. Funny note, Bungalo22’s rating is spot on how despite the wide selection of beers, most of the crowd nurses Bud bottles or mixed drinks. Oh well, their loss. This place has 40 beers on draft and couched nooks are available to patrons who arrive early. |

May 10, 2008 I was impressed with the beer selection but there was little on the menu that made me go WOW. The crew seemed knowledgeable and they understood the proper glassware. Sometimes they seemed to not care to much. Funny while I was there I saw a number of Coors Light and Buds purchased. Not sure i get that. I give it a higher overall based on the competition lacks in comparison. |

July 5, 2007 [ Updated February 9, 2009 ] I really like this place, i have been here 3 times and every time i have been satisfied. Although the didn’t seem to knowledgeable about the beer selection, they were really helpful and quick. All though the menu was extremely limited, the quality of the ingredients were superb. |
