The pub has a nice feel to it, limping a bit between old-fashioned and modern touches. Good atmosphere with lots of locals. (soccer was on and it was the first Sunday with nice weather in spring)
The window to the ’cellar’ is a nice touch.
Very decent beer list. Even though not everything on it is available, there are quite a few jewels to be found, and the computer screen searching is a convenient help.

My local pub. Very nice selection of beers from The Netherlands, Scandinavia, Belgium, etc. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Old brown pub just 400m outside of the village centre square and church, about the same distance from tourist information point. Separate smoking area. Terrace largely sheltered from wind with an estimated 50 chairs. Tremendous variety in beers (now about 1200) and good prices.

Just outside the pitoresque centre of the small village Oirschot, you’ll find this cafe. Came here in the beginning of a friday evening. A relaxed atmosphere, some people playing biljart and some people at the bar. Pretty cosy to a typical brown cafe like interior. Had a nice conversation with the bartender and he was very helpfull with explaining his system and beers. Had a couple of beers, all came wih the correct glass! Prices range from a couple of euro’s for draughts to some more euro’s for bottles and to something like 20 euro for 75 cl bottles. Also sold some beer to go. This cafe wants to be the number 1 biggest beer bar from the Netherlands, 2nd of the world (after the Delirium in Brussels), selling 900 different beers and wants to go to some 1500 different beers. Not only the typical Belgian beers, lot of beers from other countries (check the website). Very nice selection with a very nice cooling system. All by all a good cafe and definately come back again here!

Visited in december ’10. Around 600 beers, Mikkeller, Molen and Brewdog included. Affordable prices. Welcoming environment. Smoky although there is a seperate smoking room. Recommended when in the neighborhood.

From now on they have 1500 kinds (coming in the next three months. Right now it’s about 600, but the counter will keep rising the next few weeks) of special beer. It’s a great place with a large collection of beers, nice activities like live music.. There isn’t a lot to eat though. Sometimes grilled cheese sandwiches are available.. but that’s about it. Maybe that will change in the future. But then again: 1500 types of beer. Awesome.

Nice bar with lots of different beers. All trappist beers you can get including the 3 westvleteren. normal and sometimes low priced special beers on this moment 9 on tap (draft) and 105 bottled. once a month (third friday) a special night accessible for everyone without reservation. It’s called " biergenootschap " and this meens something like beeralliance. On this night there can be a guestspeaker, beercocktails ): rare beers, good food, seasonal beers, (beer)themes, discussion and ratings(non technical and very light, alliance has just started) and allways a good atmosphere. Oirschot is about 15 minutes away from Eindhoven and 10 minutes from Eindhoven Airport. also 15 minutes from Tilburg en 20 to Den Bosch. UPDATE: From 105 different beers to 1500!
