Bristol Farms - Palm Desert

It’s a high end grocery store with a pretty good beer selection. My parents and their friends shop here frequently and abuse one of their beer systems. This is one of the few places that can get Russian River Pliny the Elder in the desert. You have to ask if they have it, and if they do they’ll give you one bottle. Ironic that a bunch my parents friends that don’t know/care about beer are the ones scoring numerous bottles of Pliny so I can drink them. Other than hoping for Pliny it’s *really* rare to find something unique here.

Great grocery store in an area that is lacking a Whole Foods. Similar in selection and deli, beer selection is average in most places but quite good for the area. If you are down here on vacation, this is one best options. Decent beer selection with some SD stuff that I didn’t see other places and few imports.

This is a very nice grocery store. We stopped to pick up some supplies while on vacation. The beer selection is a bit better than your average grocery store but nothing too special. What they did have seemed reasonably priced. Wouldn’t think this place is worthy of ratebeer places, but since there isn’t too many options in the area I can see why it’s listed.

Worth checking out every once in a while. They have one beer aisle with a few decent selections. Not too many surprises and virtually nothing in the way of special releases. At least they let you break six packs though.
