I’ve had several recommendations for this spot and was happy to make it in. Had a decent hearty brunch and some good beer. Nice chat with the staff. Artsy and low-key atmosphere (located in the VCU area). Small but good tap selection and even more in the bottles. Decent prices. Bartender did have to check the list to tell me about what was on tap- and then wasn’t precisely sure which beer one of the taps was.

Thanks to James at Blowtoad for this terrific recommendation. Small and cozy diner-like atmosphere with a very creative menu. I went for breakfast, and the place was pretty full at 9 AM on Easter Sunday. Five taps and a large bottle list for such a small place. The emphasis was on American craft beer from California, PA and Colorado, the only local beer was Hardywood Park Singel. I would have liked to see a few more Virginia beers. Nice place for a meal and a beer, I’d like to retun at night to see what the nighttime scene is like.
