This one is one of my favorite MacGregors, with the great lounge room and big bar and one of the bigger beer selections. Usually a very wide range of choices including dark beers. NIce monthly specials.

Just been here once with Dan. A nice place. Plenty of variety of places to have a drink on the property. We had fast friendly service. 2nd Macgregor's to have Grimm on the menu but 'just kicked it!' Found a suitable replacement beer. Nice place.

Ehh, I’ve been to this place so many times I guess I should rate it. I live in Penfield, so it’s probably the closest "decent" bar to me. Easily over 100 taps. Can buy a pitcher of DFH120 if you need to get buzzed quick. Decent food, huge portions for a fat slob like me. They don’t cut you off even if you are falling down drunk. My kind of place.

I thought this location should have a separate page. This place has much more chacater than either the Henrietta or Gates locations, in an old restaurant, it seems, which has the feel of an old country pub. Lots of different rooms, plus a patio outside which overlooks Irondequoit Bay, albeit across a very busy thoroughfare. Tap list is rather typical Macgregors. There are a few duds, and a lot of decent beers that are often on, and a few that you might not have seen. There are always several that I want to try, though. Food is decent pub food. Our service this time was good, though with no knowledge about beer, which is the standard here. Could be much better, but still good.
