Nice little spot in Rochester. Selection is ok. Small bottles and cans are sold almost exclusively in 4-pack and 6-pack but there is a good selection of bigger bottles. Prices a bit high it seems.

Pretty typical beer store. Guy manning the counter was super enthusiastic but not obnoxious. Selection was good - prices seemed pretty high to me, but I’m not up on the retail prices for a lot of stuff that they had. You could do a lot worse than this spot though.

(Visited 08/2014): This bottle shop is located on South Avenue and Alexander. Street parking is available in the immediate area.

The store has a pretty typical layout, with the beer toward the rear of the store in coolers and scattered on shelves in other areas. Additionally there are taps at the front counter along with some rarer stuff.

There are well over 100 bottled options at Nathaniel Square, including craft breweries like Crooked Stave, Against The Grain, Elysian, Bayou Teche and Three Heads. On draught are breweries like Singlecut and Empire.

Service on a weekday evening was good. The guy behind the counter was helpful and pointed me toward the beers I couldn’t find at home. He also gave samples from the taps.

All in all this is a solid neighborhood store to visit in Rochester.

Very cool little place in the city. Great selection considering the area and the size of the place. Not as good as some other, bigger beer places, but a refreshing surprise, and I really wish it was in my neighborhood.

Stopped in here while visiting family. Quirky little corner shop in the South Wedge area. Beer is poorly organized but they have great selection and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

You’re gonna see some white dreadlocks here, but minus the pretension. A lot of good stuff for a corner store; lots of selection and Big Beers galore. Also, if you check in with Foursquare you get a couple bucks off (or that was the case when I went there).

Great selection of hard to find beers. Some are a little pricy. Most are a great value. Guy behind the counter can answer all questions. Nice old place with good beers placed around every corner. fun place to visit and pickup acouple even though hard to park there during the day.

Nice eclectic location and friendly helpful knowledgeable staff. Not too much space in here but it is jammed with quality product especially the latest and greatest entries to Rochester like Captain Lawrence and Alesmith. Cooler jammed full of pricey nice Belgian stuff too. They pride themselves on having it cold, most was, and they have mostly singles. Also plenty of stuff for the brown bag crowd, and pleasant service to them too. I enjoyed myself here and will be back.
