I was there in 2013 August, and have to say sorry for the bad news about its being out of business... The selection was great, I was able to find rare bottles like "Dogfish Head Raison D’Étre", and the public could drink the great beers in front of the shop. It was really cozy...

Lovely beer shop not far from Vatican. Very good selection of bottles from around the world, with special attention to Italian craft beers. Mostly all bottles are ferfrigerated. August 2014 - Unfortunately, there is the and of the story. The store IS CLOSED!

Great bottleshop a short walk from the Vatican. Very good selection with mainly Italians, but also beers from US, Belgien, DK, UK, etc. Possible to drink you beer at the place (out of a real glas, not the usual plastic cup) great service with good recommendations. Good prices for Rome. I will be back if in Rome again.

Visited around 5pm on Monday 10th Feb 2014. As others have touched on not too far from the Vatican, I’d say about 7 or 8 minutes from the actual entrance/exit to the museums. I was the only person in Johnnys II on my visit. The guy behind the counter spoke good English and took the time to find some beers/styles I was asking after. A solid selection of beers from IT, the UK, DK the US and Belgium formed the large part of the stock in Johnnys II. Also sells wine. Well worth popping here, it took me about 25-30 minutes to walk back to the centre of the old town by the Pantheon.

An outstanding bottle shop located just a stone’s throw from the Vatican. Wonderful assortment of beers from all around the world with a definite emphasis on Italy. Service was attentive and friendly. Grab a cup and drink your beer outside the shop. I will definitely stop back here on my next visit to Rome.

Un altro bel beershop in zona piazzale degli eroi. Scelta ampissima di birre, ma ho visto anche molti whisky di un certo livello. Prezzi nella media e molta competenza nel consigliare le birre. Assolutamente promosso

Interesting place to make your beer-shops in the city of Rome. Some special bottles are available there to buy. Some of them in very good prices !!

Good selection, they also sell wine and liquors. The guy there is very helpful and friendly and have a good knowledge. Not in the very center of Rome, but close to the vatican. In my case, near home :)

Place is visible from far due to large crowd of young Italians standing on the sidewalk drinking beer. Funny. Large selection of beers, inlcuding Italian varieties. Wished I had visited them sooner.
