Small liquor store next to Bevmo. Good selection of beers in the fridge and singles in the shelves. Good prices. Friendly service.

This strip mall store is next to a BevMo near Miramar. It is a small place with a pretty good selection packed neatly on the shelves of narrow aisles. The only time anyone spoke to me was as a meager grunt from the checkout clerk as I laid a bottle on the shelf.

Spotted the Bevmo on the way into Green Flash and on the way out we found this next door. It’s in a shopping center at the corner of Mira Mesa and Camino Sante Fe. They have a pretty good selection here but the prices are a bit high. They have a pretty good Belgian selection including all the stuff they have next door at Bevmo and then some. Rochefort, Achel 750s (something I don’t see every day), Straffe Hendrik, most of the Gulden Carolous line up, and several Val Dieu bottles. They naturally have some San Diego beers available as well. Pretty good all around, and better than next door, but not the best selection in town by any stretch of the imagination.

This place is tucked in right next to Bevmo, but put’s that behemoth to shame. Great selection of domestic and international. Always stocked with whatever you want, and if you don’t see it, just ask. Odds are they have it in the back, and if not, they are more than welcome to order something just for you. Competitive pricing and great selection keeps me coming back to this place time and time again.

This is my go-to beer store in Mira Mesa. Really good selection of beers from many different countries at reasonable prices. They always have certain Belgian gems such as St. Bearnardus, Rochefort, etc. which is important to me! And plenty of the local favorites, plenty of Alesmith and Lost Abbey and Green Flash. I also love that it’s next to BevMo, which can’t compete with this place in terms of beer selection! The guys that work here are pretty cool, somewhat friendly, but not too friendly. I don’t think they know much about beer, but they will try to get whatever you ask them for!

Always awesome service! Great selection of beers for a smaller place, especially for an independent place next door to a BevMo! Better prices too. They also have a selection of wine and spirits. If you tell the clerk that you’re looking for something that they don’t have, he’ll do his best to order it for you! It’s not as huge as Holiday Wine Cellar, but I recommend this place for sure!
