Beers were well below average (especially in California!) hardly any flavour. Staff got disinterested when we said no food (which at the table next to us did not look appetising). There are many better venues in San Diego, don’t waste time / capacity here! Annoyingly pints or tiny thimbles only so we only had a pint each, which were both bland.

This is a sports bar that happens to brew beer. 6 house offering were available when I visited, with relatively cheap flights of 4 x 4oz available. Beers were fine--nothing good and nothing horrible. Guest beers were also fine, nothing that is hard to find in the area, but solid offerings nonetheless. A fine stop for ticking, but not worth going out of your way for.

Rather large space with a split level set up. I was here Sunday morning so very few people were around. Bartender was decent enough but the two girls at the other end if the bar got most of his attention- pretty sure they were friends. They had six house beers on when I was there. Nothing amazing but all solid. Not a destination but not a bad spot to stop if nearby.

Visited on Monday 21/04/14 around 4pm. Downtown location, sports bar kind of feel with an oval shaped bar, TV screens blasting out various sporting activities and pretty quiet on my vist aside for 4 or 5 other folks sat around the bar. 5 of their own beers on tap, sampler is 4 x 4oz so you miss one, no worries just grab a taster 4oz is more than enough! $6 + tax. Guest beer list is ok, Lagunitas, Belching Beaver, Saint Archer, Coronoado, Allagash were noted amongst others, also a moderate bottle selection with a few Belgian offerings. Service was fine but they weren’t under perssure. No destination venue by any means but you can pick up some cheap ticks you probably won’t see elsewhere.

Nice selection of taps but only 6 beers brewed on location and one of these was out. Brewmaster recntly departed. Nice facility with large oval bar. Plenty of flatscreens for sprots viewing. Very good service.

A large, commercially-minded brewpub in downtown San Diego. The four beers I tried ranged from mediocre to average. Fair price on the flight, though. Attentive service. Has the feel of a sportsbar. Not a must-visit but it is a convenient stop on a downtown crawl.

A pretty standard looking brewpub, can’t complain about that, but the music was way too loud, and definitely not in sync with the guests. We had a nice meal here, large portions, and a set of beers that were ranging from boring to pretty nice. A nice place, but I think I’d try other places if in SD again.

Visited June 22, 2013.

Pretty busy but there was no problem finding seats at the bar. The bros were out in full force, probably because the UFC fight was on the tvs. Tried seven of the eight house beers (the Dark Passenger imperial stout was out) and a couple of them were ok but over all they need some work. The bartender was really nice though she had to deal with a bunch of really drunk people. Not sure I’d come back here.

Convenient location in downtown. Sort of a generic brewpub/bar feel to it. Kind of a bro atmosphere during on our visit thanks to the UFC fight being on. Beers were almost all mediocre, they normally have 8, but only 7 were available during the visit. Service was nice. Prices aren’t so bad.
