Parting Glass is pretty great. They have one of the largest beer selection of any bar in Saratoga, and have a constantly-rotating tap and bottle selection. That, combined with the Irish pub atmosphere and great events (see Hair of the Dog if you can--excellent Irish rock band), makes Parting Glass a great place. Long ago they were notorious for having gross beer lines, but that isnít the case at all anymore. Everything pours and laces well and most of the staff is fairly in-the-know in terms of what they offer.

Really good place to grab a beer. Good atmosphere, very friendly bartenders, pretty good selection, and prices are what you would expect.

I love the Glass. Itís my favorite Irish Pub in Toga. We usually go there in the summer during track season. Itís a great meeting place for friends and a good place to get drunk if you lose your shirt at the track. It has a genuine Irish Pub feeling to it that other places try to capture but rarely can. A great place to see live music also.

This is yoiur typical Irish pub that basically added a few extra taps on. The food is decent, but the place is not a beer mecca by any stretch of the imagination.

Hit or miss. Some bartenders could care less to wait on you, if you are not a regular. Selection is good for the area. The bar is too bright for my tastes- it always seems like it is clean up time. The kitchen is open late and the food is pretty good

Iím relatively local and hear the occasional good thing about this place, but the night I went I was given a lukewarm Smithwicks - itís an Irish place for Godís sake - and the (female) bartender was too busy flirting for tips for me to get her attention, and I tried. Track season or not, I will not be back. PS: They charge admission for some (not big name) live entertainment - $15!
