70 A place you must visit if you come to Sarpsborg. Even if you don’t like bowling it’s worth a visit. The food was nice and not too expensive, and the beer selection very good and interesting. Even found quite a lot of new ones, as well as classic beers. I want a bowling alley like this in my hometown. |
72 A bowling hall with a surpricing good selection of beer. Friendly service . The food was good. |
70 Conveniently located close to the train station in Sarpsborg. Nice selection of both Norwegian craft beer and imports. Visited as part of the RBNG-14 and got decent food here as well. |
74 Stop # 3 at Tour De Østfold, during RBNG-14.Looks and feels like an ordinary bowling hall, until you walk over to the counter, a big surprise with a well equipped beer selection, 4 taps and a very wide and special selected bottle selection.
We got a well prepared hot meal here during TDØ, Recommended. |
70 We stopped here for dinner during the RBNG-14 Tour de Østfold. Impressive selection that left none of us wanting. Good service and great food made with beer served in a conference room overseeing the bar and the bowling courses. |
74 Rather unusual kind of place with a beer bar surrounded by bowling tracks. Good range of bottled beers including many variants from Revelation Cat, Mikkeller and Norwegian microbreweries like the local Nøisom and from Voss. Excellent food, Simon and his crew served us (ratebeerians) a delicious Chilli con Carne with Mikkeller Texas Ranger followed by white chocolate mousse with barley wine. Very friendly service. (Tour de Østfold, RBNG-event, 15.02.2014). |
70 Bowling alley with a surprisingly large selection of beers, some of them hard to find elsewhere in Norway. Well worth visiting for the beer, even if you have no intention to bowl. Friendly owner. |
88 The craft revolution has reached Sarpsborg. And during the last year Førtito has really improved their selection. With a total of 100 different beer types on both tap and bottle, this really is up there with the other more known beer places in Norway. A selection of beer that is continiously updated keeps it fresh, and you really have to keep up if you want to test them all. |
74 Visit April 28th. Great service by knowledgable bartender. Selection is mainly Nøgne Ø, BrewDog, Mikkeller and some pale lagers. They do however also have a few other beers like Steenbrugge Trippel and Fuller’s ESB. All in all the selection is a really good mix of beers including quite a few that are anything but easy to find in Norwegian bottle shops. |
72 Lovely outstanding beer selection!
And a really dedicated owner. You will not find many people that lov ale more than Mr Fortytwo.
Also proper food. And you can play bowling and shuffleboard before you get to drunk :-D |
