76 A+ for location. Open air bar a few blocks from the beach. The tap list varies widely, seeming to lean to the conservative/typical beach bar side during the tourist season. Nonetheless for the location it’s a great option, and typically the bar is populated by at least a few folks interested in talking beer. |
70 Ive had many a beer and burger at Poes. Great place to eat/drink when you are coming from the beach. Decen’t beer selection...well the best you’ll find around here. |
76 The burgers at Poe’s are ridiculous. Poe’s typically has an decent selection of beers on tap with a rotating array of seasonal beers. The front porch bar is a great place to relax, catch some college football in the fall, and enjoy some quality beer.
Poe’s focus isn’t centered on craft beer, but they do typically have a few craft goodies on tap. |
80 Food-wise - this place is stellar - off the charts - a must go culinary burger hotspot. That said - they’re beer ain’t too shabby - but could use some improvement.
I had RJ Rocker’s Honey Amber - on tap. It was pretty good - it just tasted like everything else that had been on that line and that was kinda screwed up.
They need to get someone out there to clean the beer lines. Otherwise - great spot to hit for happy hour and a good time. |
