The hippie commune type grocery store - decent selection of the typical micros for Tallahassee. Pricing is a little random - some high and some bargains. Sell singles. Usually there for something specific food-wise and can generally always find a beer or two I haven’t tried.

Definitely a nice place to visit for organic food and beer. Good selection on some hard to find brews, especially if they’re not the most popular. Always worth the trip even if they haven’t gotten any new beer in.

Tallahassee’s local coop. A good selection of beer for a food coop and the beer guy is always willing to help out. Wine and beer tastings on a regular basis. If you’re looking for a local business to support that has bulk and organic foods as well as a solid beer selection, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place in Tallahassee.

This store has a great selection for a grocery store. There are certain beers that this is the only place in town to buy them. They deli has some good takeout food, so grab some food and a beer to go. Staff mostly doesn’t know very much about beer (this is a grocery store after all), but is very friendly and helpful.

This place is pretty much Tallahassee’s version of a Whole Foods, all Organic, health style foods. Beer is all Micros, everything is kept cold, selection is good for the town, if i’m looking for something that that Proof is out of then a nice place to stop by.

The beer selection isn’t fantastic, but I stop by here a couple of times a month because they’ll have some oddballs that don’t make it to the local Publix or Market Square Liquors. Things tend to be a little over-priced, but you can’t get soy chicken nuggets in a health food store for less than $9. Cigar City, Magic Hat, Sam Smith, Rogue, Stone, Abita, various Belgians, Sam Adams, screwball Belgians. The deli food is decent, but high. In the grocery department, I usually pick up some off beat items like textured soy, celery root or shiitake.

Just moved to Tallahassee and stumbled up on this place on accident, and I’ve been back quite a bit since, but mainly for groceries. The ambiance is nice. Bright, friendly, and Green (not the color...). The service has been hit or miss. The cashiers are always really talkative and super nice, but I’ve never once been offered help by any of the floor associates, who all look like after-burn hippies. The selection of health and organic foods is good, and the beer selection is actually decent, too. It’s a small and somewhat limitied cooler, but it’s full of specialty beers, organic beers, gluten-free beers, and lots of reasonably priced singles, including Belgians. The pricing is high compared to a normal grocery store, but that is to be expected for a co-op organic/natural store. Overall, I will continue to visit this place, but primarily for groceries, as the Liquor Loft has a much better beer selection on the other side of town.

Health food store that has been going through renovations for a year or so and now that the renovations have been completed and the beer cooler put in - it is like a mini-Whole Foods. Have at least 50 different seasonals, Belgians, and organics to choose from - some that are not available at the other liquor or grocery stores in town. I have never walked away empty handed in my quest to find something new here - the stock is always rotating. Singles are available and the prices are reasonable. Worth a stop if on the east side of town. They also have a lunch counter with a lot of health food selections for those so inclined.
