72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 15/20 jbruner (56) Tallahassee, Florida | April 3, 2013 This seems to be the only place in Valdosta to find a good selection of craft beer. Stopped here on a quick trip to town. Typical liquor store with a back wall of all beer coolers and another couple shelf of single bombers and whatnot. The staff were discussing rating beers, but I think they are BeerAdvocate types from the rating signage, which I find to be a little bit more of "beer snobs". Solid selection, though some of it is very old, so watch the bottling dates if they exist. Good amount of stuff you can’t find in Florida, which I was very excited about. Prices were standard, what I expect to pay for a six pack in Georgia, with a few awesome finds (like Arrogant bastard for $3.49 a bomber). Solid place, if not the only place to find a good selection in a somewhat backwoods town. | 64 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 10/20 rdixon77 (11) Georgia | March 25, 2012| Updated May 9, 2012 Best beer store in Valdosta, hands down. They do a pretty good of rotating stuff in and out. Nice folk working there...always willing to place an order or hold a beer for you. Have several beers that you can’t get in Florida which make it a decent place for people from NoFla to check out. Sure, they leave a few beers on the shelf too long, but I feel lucky V-town has this place. We’d be in a load of trouble without it. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 20/20 CTSVPhantom (1) Vista, California | September 11, 2010| Updated May 9, 2012 Very nice selection. They have all the beer geek staples - Chimay, Stone, Dogfish Head, Victory, Lagunitas, The Lost Abbey and way way more. Huge selection. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 drowland (142) Jacksonville, Florida | January 15, 2010| Updated March 2, 2012 Small place, not very well lit, and the employees pretty much don’t know anything about the products. However, for the town they have the best selection, and it’s your best bet for some brews if you’re going through town. | 72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 spanky167 (10) , Hawaii | December 23, 2009| Updated March 2, 2012 Probaly the best selection of craft beer in valdosta. I haven’t been to the warehouse latey and havent; been here in years, but from what I remember they a selcetion from most every country. Worth a look. |
