72 Good amount of taps in this place, but seems only 8 of those are rotating. The bottle selection was pretty ok during my visit, had some local bottles.
Their burger was really tasty, quite expensive but worth the price. Solid service, they seemed to know quite alot of what they were selling. Definitely worth a visit if in town. |
76 Quite big place with traditional BA-interior. Had a nice fish and chips along with some local beers of various quality. Good friendly service, and busy without being crowded on a Tuesday evening in June. Glad to see loclal beers on both tap and bottle. Solid Bishops Arms. |
70 A cosy, but fairly small pub with a good selection of beers. They had offerings from Dugges, Gotlands, Strömsholms and Hantverksbryggeriet when I visited. The food was tasty and filling. |
84 Located at the central square in Västerås, this BA has very knowledgeable staff and good beer selection. 6-8 of the taps are micros and tap takeovers are becoming increasingly common (De Molen, Brewdog and Stallhagen in the first half of 2013). Some beer tastings aswell. Overall a good place, a bit pricey thou. |
78 Been a while since I was in Västerås, but did swing by Bishops Arms pretty much every day for a beer. Good selection, always something from Hantverksbryggeriet when I was there, nice service and knowledgable staff. Decent enough food. I’ll go back next time in town for sure! |
