Small parking lot right in front of this place. Service was pretty good you could ask questions. Selection was case and 12-packs only (which was new). Prices in PA are fairly expensive. I didn’t buy anything and there is no real reason to return.

Welcome to Pennsylvania - where beer distributors can sell you no less than 288 ounces at a time and bars can sell you no more than 192 ounces at a time. This is a distributor - which means all they have are cases and larger. BUT... some breweries make mixed packs, like 2 mixed 12 packs in a case. Cappelli’s has probably the best craft beer selection in Washington & Greene counties, so stock up here or drive to the ’burgh.

This place had a good selection but only go here if you are looking to buy a case. The service is average (don’t speak to you unless you ask them something). If I’m looking to sample different beers this isn’t a place I go to.

(Visited 01/2008): Cappelli’s is located on Jefferson Ave not too far off I-70. They have a small private lot on the side of the building that seems to be shared with a laundy mat. The interior appears to be a convenience store until you go around the first corner and see row after row filled with cases of beer. As mentioned, there is not a denomination of beer smaller than a 12-pack. This is detrimental if you want to sample different beers but luckily there are some variety packs available. The beers are somewhat categorized geographically. There are beers available from Church, Iron City, Tröegs, Yuengling, Bell’s, GLBC etc domestically. As for imports they have a few selections from around the globe. Service is pretty standard, nobody went out of their way to ask what I was looking for but they were available for questions. Overall I would probably stop here again based on proximity to the interstate and availability of samplers from PA brewers.

A typical PA beer store. Has a huge walk in cooler that houses a ton of American macros. They have a bunch of good beers, from cases of Bells to Chimay and Unibroue. There are a few real finds here. Prices are average. However, you can only buy cases. A good case is usually around 45$. The best place in WashPA to buy beer.
