Visited on a Wednesday. Part of the Waterbury triangle. Very close to Prohibition Pig and Black Back Pub. Street parking only, but not really an issue. Inside they have a long bar and a short bar to sit at. My wife and I were the only ones here for our visit, so we went for the short bar at the front. They have house brewed beers, plus a lengthy list of guest taps. You can do flights here of anything, but some beers will add to the cost of the flight. I had a couple flights. Service was great and very helpful. Definitely stop in here if you are in Waterbury.
Visited February 2016. Great selection of local beers on tap. Flights available. Local place for local people. Tap list in front of urinal in mens bathroom was funny. They had also 2 "own beers" on tap. I was little bit of confused that were they really brewed in the same place or somewhere else.
Across the street from Blackback pub. Our next spot on the one block pub crawl.
Pretty sizable bar and restaurant with a small patio area in the back. Nice old brick building with wooden interior. They have a pretty big draft list here as well as plenty of bottles. They have a good selection of Vermont breweries as well as some house beers (Big Tree). Flights are available for all the Vermont stuff, which is kind of neat. Prices are pretty typical.
Staff was really friendly and so were the other patrons at the bar. Had a good time drinking some beers and chatting with the locals here. A fun place to check out and drink a few beers at.
Nice place to eat (decent if not great food), hangout, and choose from a solid list of Vermont breweries. Not as good a choice as Prohibition Pig, Black Back Pub, and the Pro Pig Brewery...but if you are in the area for a second day...or just live in northern Vermont...you should definitely check this place out.
Visited on August 2015. We were sit deep in the back, close to a pool table with noisy teens and TVs showing both baseball and weather forecasts... At least, the enormous beers selection made me feel better, especially when I saw Fiddlehead IPA. Took a long time to order but service was ok after that. My burger was huge, juicy and tasteful. Food menu is pub-style. Great alternative to Prohibition Pig.
We visited The Reservoir on the search for new Hill Farmstead beers on an Autumnal Sunday afternoon. The front room is a restaurant, but we sat at the bar in the backroom. They had 30+ taps on offer with 6 or so from Hill Farmstead, including a few I did not see elsewhere on our trip. The fridges behind the bar were crammed full with fresh Heady, which isnít bad. Has a local bar vibe to it. Ambiance and service was pretty standard overall. Not the best bar in town, but the beer selection is exception. Well worth a visit.

We ate there on a Saturday nite seems to be the place that all the person in town again out to. Fun atmosphere, professional staff and pretty good beer selection make this place a key player in town. The food is pub type with a little kick. We had the shed burger and the tomato mozzarella sandwich. Everything was good. The beer selection include stuff from HF, Lawsonís Finest, The Alchemist, Foley Brothers just to name a few. Sadly beer from tap were served to cold. Go there.
Did fancy the vibe of this place a lot less then Black Back Pub and Prohibition Pig. Typical locals mentality, where they donít like it to have strangers around. Wouldnít recommend this place, although they do serve some Focal Bangers ^^
I sat at the bar in the corner, barely anyone was there, but hey, service was good. Considering I had some HF beers and a Kingdom brewing beer, prices seemed good. I didnít have any food but the guy next to me looked like he really liked his food, he didnít leave a crumb so Iím guessing the food looks really good. The value, well, I heard it is better than Arvadís and Pro Pig, but hey after seeing the bill, its the same, eh, whatever, just do a beer pub bar crawl and hit all three up when youíre in town. Iíd go back, definitely.
