Another of the local stores that have been around forever doing the good beer thing that I just never visited. I actually heard about this place when I was still on BA because someone had listed Veritcal Epic 02 as available there. These days the turn over seems to be a little better. They have a decently extensive collection though I was saddened to see cases of Ruin Ten sitting out on the shelf in a place where the Snickers bar that I grabbed was melted.

The shop keeper was very nice and tried to be helpful. I was mostly just browsing but ended up buying a Knee Deep Hop Shortage from him. Unfortunately it was around $10.

I dont spend much time in the Covina area these days but he’s got some things that you cant find down the street at Jug & Jigger and he’s alright with taking orders (so if you want a case of Orval...)

Good 1 stop shop

The selection was not all that extensive, but some decent finds. beers from Caldera, Bootleggers, Stone, Moylans, the Bruery, and the usual CA suspects. A few imports, but nothing amazing. There was a little bargain table which was actually the most interesting. There were some 2007 Sierra Nevada IPAs (not Torpedo, the actual IPA). I grabbed one just for a laugh. The service was definitely lacking, but I wasn’t too worried about it. The guy at least was friendly when I walked in the store and when I was checking out. The prices are about average, nothing to comment on either way.
