| CharlesDarwin (144), Point Judith, Rhode Island | | December 31, 2008 I like this place. There’s a very good selection. It feels like an emporium. There’s coolers and stands of a variety of decent beers. I was surprised to see some fairly rare imports like Norrebro and BrewDog. Lots of singles available, good Indiana breadth, and some good deals. There’s a mix your own six of discount beers for $5! I got Anchor OSA, Brooklyn, and others for that. A decent stop, worth checking out. | | phishpond417 (51), Madison, Wisconsin | | October 18, 2008 I was pretty excited to stop in here, and so when I did went straight to the beer coolers, and made myself a little 6-pack. The mix and match 6pack ended up totalling $17. They offer no discounts unfortunately. As I get to the counter to show my ID i was denied because I did not have two ID’s (state law). I was completely unaware of this, and while the lady helping was not rude, she made it seem like I should have known this was a law, even though I told her it was from Wisconsin. Fortunately for me, my girlfriend was with and she had two ID’s so it was success. The prices are pretty steep to say the least. But it was a good selection of beer. | Block (4), West Lafayette, Indiana does not count - explanation | | August 8, 2008 Really nice selection and knowledgeable staff. They’ve created some nice micro variety packs and have single bottles. | | BREWMUSKCLES (46), New Jersey | | May 28, 2008 quite a nice selection of beer. good service and friendly beer personnel are available. you can get something hidden from the back if you ask. didnt like buying a bunch of beers and not getting an itemized list. sure they would have heard that before. | Haslinger (6), Syracuse, New York does not count - explanation | | April 26, 2008 [ Updated June 20, 2008 ] Good place, I was helped out by the main beer purchaser. He was very helpful and gave me some good selections. Definitely worth stopping at if you’re in town | | Cornfield (140), Oak Forest, Illinois | | June 8, 2007 Not a bad spot to pick up some decent brews. They do have one cooler with single bottles, which is good for picking up stuff that you might not want a full sixer of when trying a beer for the first time. The staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area and need good beer. | | Optigon (41), Bloomington, Indiana | | January 16, 2007 The Village Bottle Shoppe carries a wide selection of beer. They offer single-bottle purchasing and carry a wide variety of wines. |
