Well, the brewpub’s WTF working hours lead us to visit this place, which I seriously considered skipping before. Its location is more than convenient, however, so we ended up here. The menu offered several house beers, which they still claim to be brewed by Bayer Bräu, which is apparently closed - Helles, Schwarzbier, Kellerbier, Weizen and Doppelbock on tap, most of them crap, the weizen and the doppelbock being average but passable. The bottle selection is big, but aims more at "strangeness" than quality. We had a good chuckle reading that Karlovačko’s made in Zagreb. And a facepalm at its 4€ price. In any case, the place looks a little run-down, "eurotrashy" from the inside, worn couches, gaming machines, slightly dark. Not the best atmosphere around. I mean, they had Nickelback playing on the radio and when THEY are the best part of the ambiance, something’s off. We were the only ones inside but nothing strange really, it was still early. The waitress was polite and efficient. Dunno, not impressed by the place.

Visited this place a couple of times the same day. First in the afternoon for a beer and while it was pretty quiet, the decor was rather crowded and not very much thought through. Selection is fairly big with a lot of bottled beers from all over the world on offer. Too bad it is the mass-produced lager of every country so no interest at all in trying those since they more or less all taste the same. Around eight beers on tap and a decent selection of German bottles. Food was pretty bland, especially for the money: a sandwich you whipped up from store-bought cold cuts and bread, expensive too. Other time was later that night around eleven, only because friends wanted to go. The music was so loud you could hardly hear what people were saying and the place was crowded. Service was still fast though. Had a burger then, a fast-food one pretty much. Wouldn’t go again.

A small and quiet place (at least during the week !), but with an significant selection of beers (150). Very different beers are offered : German, Belgian, French, American... but mainly worldwide lagers... The waitress was nice and there is a kicker there : great !

A rather dingy place, but right in front of the central train station. Lots of beers on the menu, though most are industrial lagers, and many were not in stock anyway. The two house draughts from Bayer Brau that I tried were good enough--wanted the bock too but it was out. They also have a strange beer called Morio Alt on the menu, supposedly from Japan, which I know isn’t! It was out as well as the Ginga Kogen Stout, which hasn’t been bottled in at least 5 years! Worth a stop if you want some variety, but a bit half-ass.
