60 Kind of an interesting place. Fairly typical sports bar feel, but a touch of the Irish pub thing going on too. Kind of an interesting scene during the 49er game as there were certainly a lot of people just there looking to get hammered on Budweiser and whatnot. Service was okay and they have a lot of taps, but not a ton of all that interesting beers. Certainly some decent stuff, though. While I was there, I looked up the place and seems like it keeps getting bought/sold, so your experience may vary. |
62 Was here once a whiile ago even though it’s only about 15 minutes from my house. It’s similar to the Hopyard in Pleasanton only not as welcoming an atmosphere and a slightly less inspiring tap list. They have mostly regular craft here (things like Lagunitas, North Coast etc.) but usually some interesting seasonals. I think I got a Drakes aroma coma and a Lagunitas fusion when I was there. The old school bartender was okay, but not especially friendly. Seems like a place for regulars. With other great options popping up locally, I don’t see myself coming here very often. |
90 Excellent beer selection, good pub grub, stay away from the meatloaf though. This is our local hang.
52 taps, have never gone to the bottle selection. |
80 A very nice place to stop by when you are in the Pleasanton/Dublin/Livermore are. Food is very tasty (albeit a tad expensive) and the taps always have something interesting. Pliny is usually always on tap, along with a nice selection of other beers. If I’m ever in the area, I will stop by and grab some lunch/dinner and a few pints. Definitely recommended. |
68 Overall pretty good. The food is good, especially considering its a pub. They have some good beers on tap, usually a few Russian Rivers and whatnot. Pool, darts, TVs - what’s not to like? |
76 Cool spot, very similar to the englander, but more space it seems. Very similar tap list. Check my englander rating. I guess it used to be owned by the same people. I really love the fish and chips at this place. |
78 Pretty cool sports bar with several T.V.’s all showing different games and a bunch of good stuff on tap. Most of the tapped beers were decent, with a few really good ones. Food was very good. The server didn’t know much about beer, and hadn’t any of the ones I had questions on. I guess if you work in a tap room, you need to be able to offer an opinion and experience on the beer list. She seemed like more of a Red Bull and Vodka kind of gal. |
86 Unbelievable amount of taps. Great selection of beers. Food is good too. |
