I have been trying several times to find this place open. No days or hours are posted. Tonight I saw lights on and found out that they were closing after 11 years. The closing party was last night. Missed it by one day!

This place is great. Super small one man operation. The beer is delicious and worth the drive to the coast. Classic beer joint. Loved it.

Found this neat place in December of 2003. It’s kind of hidden, behind a bar and inside a building, but it’s worth it. When I was there, there was a Christmas tree set up by the door with coasters from New England breweries (I’m from New Hampshire, so I was interested). The owner said he had just gotten back from a trip visiting breweries in New England. Super friendly staff. The ambiance is a little weird and it seems to be an awkward space for a restaurant/brewery with no windows or anything. Awesome food though. The beers are great as well. I had a sampler and really liked everything I had. I was there about a week after the big earthquake and was fortunate enough to buy the only Morro Bay pint glass that survived.
